My second First Time

I have two first time in the universities. The first was in Adolfo Ibañez in 2009, because I begin studing Bussines and Administration, but I didn't like the university in the high lands of Santiago. I hate the people of this, sons of his rich daddys.

In the next year, I entered to Journalism in Universidad de Chile, yes it's very different but not much also, because I didn't have science. I remember this year like one of my best years of my life, and the beginning was the best.

With my classmates we joined before the academic year in the same university. For the great Earthquake of 2010 in this year we started classes later than usuall. We bought too many alcoholic drinks and we met in the grass of the university. We were almost the complete course and we had a very good time.

This meeting was a week before than we started oficially the university and obviously it's makes more easy to beginning a new year because the majority of the course had met each other.

I remember that I spoke with Ester, Felipe, Nicolas, Daniela, Eva, and more classmates. I think that we always remember this meeting, althought some people were drunk. jaja.

The real first day of the university ? That's boring and usuall comparate with this.-.

Country and Chile

This Fiestas Patrias was very different to my other's Fiestas Patrias. I always have this celebrities in my home or in somewhere of Santiago. But, In this time I gone to Talca, in the south of Chile.

This idea was born because, for my job (cover the football match between Universidad de Chile vs Rangers) I have to go to this city, and my girlfriend have family in the nearly in the country. I goes with cousins of my girlfriend because she gone to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and she arrived the next day.

It's was my first time in the country of my girlfriend, and it's was very good. The family was very nice and we prepared the fonda next to the house.

I ate very much, and obviously I drinked, but with tranquility. In this country I discover the affection of the people of the country, always they wanna that I drink and eat more and more, jeje.

I have been five days in the country, I remember two nights that we dancing different music like cumbias, rancheras and reggaeton. In another, we played football, fly a kite, and played typical games like races of sacks, gymkhana. ¡I won a competion of this!The other thing that I done is ride a horse, it's was my first time.

I enjoyed very much this Fiestas Patrias because I have a different landscape, and different culture. I think that i discover another Chile, the real and the typical Chile of the country, because the life in the city it's very different and difficult. 

Friends!

I think that it`s a little gay talk about a friend, specially that he is a man. It`s weird but also interesting to remember.

I would like to present two very good friends. The first is Manuel Castillo, called "Manacho", he always have different and funny things to do. Fisically, he is very small, like 1.66 meters, he are a very style man with a special personality .

I don't remember exactly the form that we have converted in friends, but we met for the age 2004 in the neighbor of La Florida. The music and the movies was a good form to talk more and we started to be very good friends. We like very much the films of Tarantino, Inglourious Bastards, Pulp Fiction, etc, the films of Kubric, Woody Allen, etc. In the music we have in common bands like The Libertines, Turf, Oasis, in many other bands.

Around the year 2007, he invited me to the south of Chile, to his house of grandfathers nearly to Valdivia. This trip was the first trip to the south and to the lakes. We have many memories that we remember and laugh sometimes.

The second is Jose Manuel Farias, called "Pepe". I met this guy since we are children, we lived in La Florida in the same street. With Pepe, we have many stories but we are great friends. It's weird but we don't have many things in commom but we have a very good feeling, we respect the other and have many things to laugh.

I always remember when I was very sad for a difficult decision in my life and he don`t have problems to talk with me in the night. With the time we have feeling more thing in common, like the music and other things.

I saw my friends minimum once a week. Often we have parties in the weekends,

Santiago rides

Santiago is a big city in Chile. Some much people talk about this city like "Chile", "Santiago is Chile" because in this city live's the most people of the country.

We have poverty and richness but, I don't wanna talk about this. We have to see the beautiful things of this city. If you have a bike, you love the cicle paths, specially in Providencia. We have so many of these in many streets.

You have liberty, you don't have to wait a bus or a taxi. The transport in Santiago it's very expensive, it's one of the most expensive of Latin American.

I dislike Santiago in this themes, because we don't have cicle paths in all the communes, it's like a privilege for the more richness people. We have to think that the majority of the people don't have so many money to pay the buses, but we don't have another alternative.

Slowly the city is thinking more about this alternative, we don't contaminate, we do exercise, it's a cheap and fast vehicle to use to our works, study or anything.

English blog

I never had a blog in English but I always thought about it to practice this lenguage. In this blog I wrote about many things related with me and my preferences. I enjoyed this activity but I hate it also because not always we are inpired to write.

It's a good activity but also it's difficult. I usually had to use the dictionary and ask for sentences in Spanish expressed in English. My favourite subjects in my blog are the sports and my work to La Magia Azul. It's a important subject for me because it's the work that a like to do in the journalism.But, not always I posted about the sports, I have do it in objetcts like my cellphone, the parties in the ICEI, photographies, and other posts.

I think that for this activity I improve my English in a entertaining way. Almost the classes of English are so boring with typical activities in a book, but this is more interactive to learn English.  This is a clear adventage of this methodology. It's so much better learn English practice it like in the real life than a teacher with his book. We can have more activities related with our degree. For example, like a student of journalism, we can have a program of radio in English, a paper or a program of tv.

ICEI's rock

"Descoontroooool uooooo", this is one of the hits that sounds in the ICEI's parties. These parties are very special because these are in the same university, at the hole of the school of cinema and television called populary "El Hoyo". Definitely, we have two parties in the semester, one on the begin and other in the last part of the semester.

In this activities, we have a lot of alcoholic drinks, principally (in the summer) "Tropical", white wine with a pineaple drink or others, with Ron or Pisco. (Yes, we drink in the university). This is very nice because we don't have to pay another place to drink and have parties like in the other universities. Daddy Yankee isn't the unique artist, we have a lot of variety like brasilian music, cumbia, electronic and obviously, reggaeton.

These partys are very special in the ICEI, all the students have stayed in one of this at least. A lot of relationships have starts and a lot of funny conversations about these to remember all the life. Occasionaly we have problems, principally for drink so much, but it's funny too. If do you want to go, you have to think only in have a funny moment with your university friends.

The sports of El Mercurio

The sports and most of all, the football, it's a passion in my life and for my career. I'm working in a program called La Magia Azul and it's works is follow only the club Universidad de Chile. But, I like very much the work of El Mercurio in the section of sports. If you have a account you can see it in www.mer.cl.

This seccion its apart of the diary and it's have around 10 pages and depends of the context. For example, in the end of may, the Worldcup of Football in Chile celebrate fifty years from the first match. The section was design like the newspaper in the 60's. Obviously, in this case the information is about the tematic of the worldcup.

Normally, this newspaper has all the information of the football and the other sports. News of the principal teams of Chile, of the world, interviews, and different informations about the sports. This work is very serious with very much coverage and creative to talk about the different themes.Also, it has a guide of the transmision of the sport on TV. Oh, the photographs are very good too, always speak by themselves related with the theme
