Santiago is a big city in Chile. Some much people talk about this city like "Chile", "Santiago is Chile" because in this city live's the most people of the country.
We have poverty and richness but, I don't wanna talk about this. We have to see the beautiful things of this city. If you have a bike, you love the cicle paths, specially in Providencia. We have so many of these in many streets.
You have liberty, you don't have to wait a bus or a taxi. The transport in Santiago it's very expensive, it's one of the most expensive of Latin American.
I dislike Santiago in this themes, because we don't have cicle paths in all the communes, it's like a privilege for the more richness people. We have to think that the majority of the people don't have so many money to pay the buses, but we don't have another alternative.
Slowly the city is thinking more about this alternative, we don't contaminate, we do exercise, it's a cheap and fast vehicle to use to our works, study or anything.

ResponderEliminarI don't think that the transport is fast. I think it's very slow, but it's a decent service. Well, you like the tiny team. You should love Colo Colo, the best of America.
ResponderEliminarI hate the transport in Santiago, awfull waits to take the bus and once you take it, to be in it keeps being the worse travellling ever!
ResponderEliminarIn any case, the distances in the city are a important factor to choose a transport. If you live soooooo far of your destiny, the bicicle isn't a good alternative :S
